Intercessory prayer is to be treated with the utmost respect and seriousness. It is standing in the gap for those who can't. Praying for those who can't or don't know how to pray. It's coming before God and pleading the cause for whoever or whatever it is, in such a way that the intercessor can feel the anguish of the person they are interceding for and the birthing pains of bringing the spiritual into the natural.
(Romans 8:26-27; John 17:20-21; 1 Timothy 2:1-2; James 5:6)
